The Village of Orland Hills is now accepting applications for the position of Full Time Interim Assistant Finance Director. The Interim Assistant Finance Director shall perform the duties assigned to him/her by the Village President and Board of Trustees and/or the Village Administrator, including but not limited to:

  • Direct, coordinate and be responsible for matters relating to taxation, accounting, auditing, payroll and risk management, and any other duties as directed by the Village Administrator.

Furthermore:

  • Prior experience in Finance related positions will be considered.
  • The Interim Assistant Village Finance Director will also require proficiency in computerized applications.
  • Applicant must demonstrate an ability to use sound independent judgment, build on a "team oriented" work environment, and possess organizational skills.
  • The Interim Assistant Village Finance Director shall receive such compensation as shall be fixed from time to time by the Village President and Board of Trustees.
  • The Interim Assistant Village Finance Director shall be appointed by the Village President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. The Interim Assistant Village Finance Director shall serve at the pleasure of the Village President and may be removed from office by the Village President in the manner provided by law.
