This September, the Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau will be hosting a sickle cell awareness blood drive. The Chicago Southland CVB has proudly partnered with the American Red Cross, the Ho-Chunk Southland Sports Center and the Village of Lynwood to host this event. We would like to encourage all of our residents to donate blood if able, and to help raise awareness for sickle cell, which impacts more than 100,000 Americans.
